FAQ

Common questions about Pacoverso, access and donations.

What is Pacoverso, in simple terms?

Pacoverso is an association that creates educational, interactive experiences (digital escape-room style) to work on real things: coexistence, critical thinking and preventing everyday troubles (bullying, sexting, responsible use of phones and social media, etc.). We don’t make “games for the sake of it”: we make experiences with a purpose, designed to learn without lectures, by living a story and making decisions. And yes, there is real work behind it.

Is this a catalogue of escape rooms?

No. We are not a “game shop” or an endless product list. Pacoverso is more about experiences than items. Some are designed for families, others for the classroom, others for teams… but the idea is the same: what happens inside should make sense outside.

Are the escape rooms free?

Yes. For now everything is open and free. To access the resources we ask for a simple registration (email):

  • to make access easier and help you if something fails;
  • to organise responsible use, since resources are limited;
  • to prevent abuse.

Your email is used only to manage access and support. We don’t spam.

Will you flood my inbox?

No. Zero spam. If one day you want to follow news, we’ll give you clean options (for example, RSS).

Why is there a donate option if it’s free?

Because creating and maintaining this costs: time, development, tools, servers, support… Donations are voluntary and help sustain the association and keep publishing experiences. Donating is not “buying” anything: if you donate, you support the project; if you don’t, you can still play.

What does it mean to “sponsor” an escape room?

It’s a nice (and real) way of saying: “I like what you do and I want to help it exist and grow”. Sponsoring helps improve experiences, create new ones and keep access open.

Do I need to install anything?

Usually not. The idea is to jump in and play. If an experience requires an extra step (for example, a form to organise a group), it will be clearly explained.

What do I need to play well?
  • A device with a browser (computer, tablet, phone, VR glasses).
  • A stable connection.
  • A bit of calm time and willingness to take part.

For classroom or family use, it works great with a simple idea: we come to talk and think as a team, not to rush.

Can I use a phone or is a computer better?

You can use a phone, but for comfort we recommend a computer or tablet and, if you play as a group, a big screen or projector/TV.

How long does each experience last?

It depends. Some are short and others fill a whole session. When you enter you’ll see an approximate duration and the type of dynamic.

Can it be played in a group?

Yes: alone, with family, with friends, in the classroom or in a team. It usually works very well with 2 to 6 people, but it can be adapted.

Do we need a video call if we play remotely?

It’s not mandatory. If you’re in different places, a call helps you coordinate, but the game can be played anyway.

Are there hints if we get stuck?

Yes. The idea is to progress and learn, not to get stuck. Each experience includes its own help/hint system.

Is it hard? Is it for “geeks”?

No. There are different levels, but the philosophy is to challenge just enough, make sense and be enjoyable, not an exam.

What if the internet drops or it freezes?

Don’t worry: usually you can retry and continue. If you see a specific error, tell us and we’ll check it.

Can it be used in a school, parents’ association or organisation?

Yes. Many experiences are designed for the classroom, tutoring, coexistence or values work. If you’re a school or organisation, write to us and we’ll guide you.

Can I suggest topics or collaborate?

Yes. Pacoverso grows with real-world ideas. If you have a need (coexistence, phones, social media, peer pressure, cybersecurity…), tell us and we’ll consider it.

Privacy and data

We ask for the minimum. If information is collected (for example, the access form), it will be for a clear purpose: managing access, support and safe use. More detail in the Privacy Policy.

Still have a question?

Write to us and we’ll reply. There’s a team here, not robot customer service. Pacoverso is under construction, step by step.
